A Pack That Tasted Like Onam.

Kitchen Treasures is already a household name in Kerala condiments. For their Payasam Mix, the brief was tricky—keep the trusted brand template, but make the pack feel young, festive, and worth picking up off the shelf without thinking.

The Brief

Payasam isn't a recipe. It's a memory. We decided the pack shouldn't sell ingredients—it should sell the feeling of Sadya, the sound of the Onam table, the moment payasam hits the leaf. Festival on a pack.

The Reframe

We brought in celebratory illustrations—Pookkalam motifs, festive colour, a warmth that felt unmistakably Kerala. The Kitchen Treasures identity stayed put. Everything around it picked up the rhythm of the season.

The Strategy

On shelf, the pack did its job before the customer read a single word. It looked like Onam. Off-take improved, brand recognition stayed sharp, and the festive edition earned its place in the lineup.
